The Nike Air Griffey Max 2 was the second signature shoe for Ken Griffey Jr. that released in 1997 and was designed by Tracy Teague. Following a few retro releases over the years, the Griffey 2s will be returning once again during Fall 2023.
One of the colorways that will be releasing arrives in a Light Bone, White, Hemp, and Clear Jade color scheme. While no leaked photos have surfaced, the Nike Air Griffey Max 2 features protective side-wall ridges with carbon fiber heel counter added for stability. “Nike” branding on the tongue tabs, a Swoosh on the toe, Griffey’s Swingman logo on the heels atop a full-length Max Air cushioning and rubber outsole with various patterns for traction completes the design.
Look for the Nike Air Griffey Max 2 “Light Bone” to release during Fall 2023 at select Nike Sportswear retailers and Nike.com. The retail price tag is set at $150 USD.
