Nike Sportswear is bringing back some classic pairs during the Holiday 2025 season. One of the pairs that fans can look forward to is the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “Freshwater.” Worn by baseball Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr., we last saw the shoes last drop in 2021.
As most know, this is an original colorway that was initially launched in 1996. This Nike Air Griffey Max 1 is dressed in a Black, Multi-Color, Fresh Water, White, Varsity Red, and Metallic Silver color scheme. The shoes are constructed with nubuck and smooth leather throughout, while Black drapes the overlays and Freshwater Green adorns the base.
