Originally released in 1996, and last seen in 2020, the Nike Air More Uptempo “OG” will be making another return in 2023. The shoe was famously worn by Scottie Pippen during the Chicago Bulls’ 72-win championship season in 1995-96. Although thought to be a return of the OG, this iteration of the classic colorway will come with a few modifications.
Dressed in the original Black and White color scheme. This offering of the Nike Air More Uptempo features its usual Black nubuck upper with its signature larger “AIR” lettering outlined with more White than the original came with. The shoe also comes with a Black Jewel Swoosh on the heels, replacing the OG’s White. A Black rubber sole atop a a full-length Air-sole unit with a large White Swoosh underfoot completes the design.
Nike Air More Uptempo Black White 2023 Release Date
Look for the Nike Air More Uptempo “Black/White” to release in the coming months at select Nike Sportswear retailers and Nike.com. The retail price tag is set at $160 USD.
