Following a rebrand earlier this year, Nike ACG has gone about rebuilding its performance footwear lineup from the ground up, taking an approach comparable to what Nike Running did with its road franchises a few years back, only this time with the trail in mind.

While some of the models highlighted below have already been on shelves for weeks or even months, the impending turn to fall should make them increasingly relevant in many parts of the world, while also drawing renewed attention from the still-substantial gorpcore crowd. Nike ACG Pegasus Trail

Nike has been experimenting with outdoor-ready versions of the Pegasus since the 1980s, but none have been as purpose-built as this 2026 edition. The ACG Pegasus Trail borrows the general shape of the Pegasus 42 before adding a host of trail-specific upgrades, including a ReactX foam midsole, engineered mesh upper, and more rugged traction underfoot. Several colorways, along with Nike By You options, are available now for $155.

Nike ACG Pegasus Trail GTX

The ACG Pegasus Trail GTX follows the same general formula as the standard version, only with an extra layer of weather protection courtesy of a GORE-TEX upper built to handle rain, snow, mud, and just about anything else the trail can throw at it. Multiple colorways, including the women’s “Triple Black” pair shown below, are coming soon.

Nike ACG Zegama Trail

Where the Pegasus Trail is positioned for “moderately technical” outdoor runs, the Zegama Trail is built for more demanding terrain. A protective ankle cuff and Vibram outsole add stability and grip, while ZoomX foam underfoot keeps things cushioned over longer distances. Pairs are available now for $180.

Nike ACG Zegama Trail GTX

The Zegama Trail GTX takes the same rugged foundation and adds GORE-TEX protection for wetter, harsher conditions. Pairs are coming soon to Nike in both men’s and women’s sizing.

Nike ACG Zegama Hike

Walk, don’t run in the Nike ACG Zegama Hike. Built specifically for long hikes rather than trail running, the model doubles down on cushioning and protection with a sturdier, more substantial build designed for extended expeditions. Men’s and women’s sizes are available now for $190.
