New Balance is gearing up to introduce the 991v2, an updated version of the brand’s classic running sneaker. The first in-line color scheme covers the model in their essential ‘Grey’ colorway, coming soon.
Over the last few weeks, New Balance and Stone Island have unveiled their latest project, featuring the 991v2. Modifying the original 2001 model with an updated midsole tooling, revised 991 branding, and a more form-fitting tongue, this model will make its in-line debut in the midst of Stone’s launch, with a classic ‘Grey’ colorway leading the charge. The pair features a pale grey mesh base layer, with darker shades of grey for the leather mid layers, and tongue patches. The outer suede layers come in a warm grey tone, while the two-tone midsole sports blue ABZORB cushioning throughout.
