New Balance WRPD Runner “Flat Taupe” Releases in September

New Balance’s WRPD Runner was introduced roughly a year ago, and has been an interesting staple of their lifestyle options, refreshed with new colors each season. This month, they are ringing in Fall with a new monochromatic “Flat Taupe” release, coming soon.

New Balance debuted their WRPD RUNNER sneaker last August, offering up a new lifestyle model that departs from their usual heavily-layered, retro “dad” shoe look. The model features minimal paneling, composed of a mesh base with suede and leather outer layers, all of which is mounted on top of a smoothly sculpted midsole unit. The silhouette has had a nice assortment of in-line colorways along with one excellent collaboration with Auralee, which appears to have influenced their latest seasonal style for Fall 2024.

New Balance’s next release of their Warped Runner does not have an official date yet, but is coming soon. The new style appears very similar to Auralee’s off-white tonal pair, mimicking the monochromatic palette but with a new “Flat Taupe” shade of reddish tan.

New Balance’s latest style of the WRPD Runner silhouette has not been given a set release date yet, but is expected to arrive sometime in September 2024. Dressed in a monochromatic “Flat Taupe” shade, pairs will be available via the brand’s website and select retailers for the usual $150.
