In recent years, New Balance has revitalized its Made in USA line by blending domestic craftsmanship with modern fashion relevance. The turning point came in 2021, when Teddy Santis was appointed creative director, introducing seasonal collections that refreshed heritage models like the 990 series with refined color palettes and storytelling-driven campaigns. The revamp emphasized premium materials, consistent releases, and stronger lifestyle positioning while maintaining U.S.-based manufacturing.

This week, the Boston brand announced their new lineup of Made in USA styles for the Spring/Summer season, just ahead of the new collection’s launch next week. This time, they’ve given us some release details for each pair, leaving little speculation of what to look out for in the next few months. The first release for SS26 will be an olive green pairing of the 990v4 and 992, both of which land on shelves next Friday. The second release is slated for March, and brings a bold “Passion Fruit” edition of the 993, as well as a white, blue, & purple rendition of the 992. April releases include yet another pair of the 992 in a bright Sea Stone blue shade, paired with an apricot orange pair of the 1300. May will be an off month, and the program will return in June for its final batch of releases, with grey colors of the 992 & 1300, as well as a neon red pair of the 990v4.

NEW BALANCE MADE IN USA SS26 RELEASE INFORMATION

New Balance’s latest season of footwear from the Made in USA program will release in waves throughout the next few months. The first release is slated for next week on February 26th, featuring the 990v4 & 992 in a duo of olive colors. The 993 & 992 will come next in March with purple as the unifying color, followed by another 992 & the 1300 in April. In June, the 992/1300 combo will return with a flat grey theme, with a bright red 990v4 rounding out the season, also in June.
