Update (5/6/26): Here is a first look at the “Denim” Kobe Bryant x Air Force 1 Protro. A release is expected to launch on May 22nd.
Nike Sportswear and Kobe Bryant will expand on the retro releases, and we have another Air Force 1 Low Protro arriving in Summer 2026. However, this isn’t just another pair. Originally created in 2006 as a player exclusive for Kobe Bryant, the sneakers were never released to the public. Considered a grail by many, this is another pair that Nike will bring out of the vault and giving fans what they want.
This Nike Air Force 1 Low, in connection with Kobe Bryant, is dressed in an Obsidian, Safety Orange, and White color scheme. Looking closer, the shoes feature Obsidian denim around the toe, heel, eyestays, and the Swoosh logos. On the panels and toe, we have a lighter shade of denim, resembling the inside of jeans. For some pop, Safety Orange fills in the Kobe shield logo, Nike Air branding, and the stitching. Other details include a White midsole and an Orange rubber outsole.
