Kith has once again tapped Marvel and Asics for a three-way collaboration, following up on last year’s X-Men series. This time, a select group of iconic Marvel Super Villains have been selected and interpreted in sneaker form, coming soon.

Ronnie Fieg is leaning into his love of comic books in the last year. In Spring 2023, his Kith brand teamed up with Marvel and Asics to release a wildly popular “X-Men” collection, which transformed members of the mutant team into footwear, and released through a blind box drop varying levels of rarity for each shoe. Now, they are running back the Marvel and Asics team-up, this time delivering a handful of silhouettes inspired by some iconic super villains, and one lone hero.

The new “Super Villains” collection from Kith, Marvel, and Asics rounds up a small assortment of some of the biggest names in comics and transfers them onto Asics popular line of SportStyle silhouettes. Each shoe features a gradient mesh underlay in the classic colors of each character, with accents made to match. First up, Norman Osborn’s Green Goblin persona gets a pair of the GT-2160, with black and silver accents. The symbiote Venom joins the pack on the same shoe, featuring blue and purple tones with black overlays, and for good measure, a Spider-Man pair in red white and blue comes alongside it in a two-pack, the flagship drop of this release. Next up, the Herald of Galactus, the Silver Surfer, gets a metallic chrome rendition of the GEL-Kayano 14 with blue cushioning underneath, while Magneto’s purple and red GEL-1130 is the final piece of this series.

KITH X MARVEL X ASICS “SUPER VILLAINS” COLLECTION RELEASE INFORMATION

The latest release from the trio of Kith, Marvel, and Asics has not been announced for release yet, but will likely arrive sometime before the end of Summer 2024. Highlighting a handful of Marvel’s iconic villains across a collection featuring the GT-2160, GEL-Kayano 14, and GEL-1130, pairs will be available exclusively through Kith.
