Kith And New Balance Open Permanent Store In West Hollywood

Ronnie Fieg and KITH have been valued partners of New Balance for almost the entirety of their 15-year run. It’s not out of bounds to say this year might mark the most momentous occasion of the relationship to date. The impending New Balance 2011 grants the imprint its first co-designed silhouette under the Boston brand, and on top of a new face equally shared between the two partners, KITH’s retail presence will be getting a new installation to match.

New Balance at KITH, opening on June 26th, is a permanent space within the NY label’s West Hollywood flagship. Overhauling its lower level, of course, footwear is in focus, showcasing New Balance Skate, New Balance Made in USA, and, of course, KITH collab designs. Looking ahead, Shohei Ohtani’s inline efforts and Tokyo Design Studio are tabbed for future inclusion.

The timing here is no coincidence, with this installation serving as the exclusive early launch site for the aforementioned New Balance 2011 and the associated apparel coming alongside it. There, we get a glimpse of a new canvas for jointly crafted product; KITH confirms that seasonal apparel collections designed with NB will be a factor in the rotating stock on display.

Again, the New Balance at KITH West Hollywood space will cut the ribbon on June 26th. Operating hours are from 11 AM to 8 PM Monday through Saturday and 11 AM to 7 PM on Sunday. Catch advanced previews below.
