Nobody could have predicted the 180-degree turn that golf fashion has taken in recent years given that for most of its lifespan it's been nothing but bland polo shirts and wing-tipped shoes. And now, sportswear brands like Jordan Brand are sprucing up the sport's style by cooking up a variety of striking apparel and footwear that aligns more with the modern generation's taste. So this season, it's preparing a brand new Air Jordan 1 High Golf "Metallic Green" colorway that has just been unveiled by official imagery.The fairway-ready kicks are outfitted with a two-toned motif. Overlays that wrap around the toe boxes, quarter panels, tongues, laces and collars are all fashioned in a crispy white hue and offset by "Metallic Green" accents. The latter shows face with glossy finishes atop the toe boxes, ankle flaps, Swooshes and lower heel overlays while the Jordan Brand Golf logos on the tongues arrive in a matching hue.Down below, the midsoles are bereft of any filling while the outsoles — which have been updated with pronounced grip for the green — have been blasted with a green paint job.Look for Nike and select retailers to launch these in the coming weeks for $180 USD.For other sneaker news, the Air Jordan 4 "Military Blue" is slated to make its return in 2024.
