It’s not often that two grails drop in the same week.
With the Air Jordan 12 “Bucks” reimagining a Ray Allen PE and Fat Joe’s Terror Squad Air Force 1 both impending, that’s exactly what’s on offer in the next few days. But overall, this is one of the more high-volume weeks in recent memory; notable GRs include the Air Max 95 “Greedy,” Air Jordan 7 “Tennis Day,” Vans Old Skool “Pearlized Yacht Club,” KD 19 “Gorge Green,” and Air Zoom Huarache 2k4 “Knicks.”
The collab slate is absolutely jam-packed as well; if you can’t find a draw in the cast list between Civil, Sydney Levone, Yu-Gi-Oh, Simone Focha, Chevy, Stan Birch, Victor Victor, Wagyu, Yuto Horigome, Larry June, Street Fighter, or Cecilie Bahnsen, perhaps you should just skip this showing altogether.
Find a full breakdown of what every day this week has to offer via the galleries ahead. Within each, you’ll find hyperlinks leading back to our original coverage, containing “Where to Buy” widgets with direct pick-up links for drop day, and of course, our detailed analysis of what each release brings to the table. Though we’ll keep this page updated with any late-breaking additions to the slate, ensure nothing slips through the cracks by keeping an eye on our Jordan Release Dates and Sneaker Release Dates hubs.
September 6th has Kevin Durant call an iso, as the Nike KD 19 “Gorge Green” drops a candy apple addition to the “Candies” series.
September 7th lists clams on the menu, as the Civil New Balance Numeric 480 is inspired by Rhode Island’s love for the humble quahog.
September 8th is for the diehards, as the Nike Air Max 95 “Greedy” drops off the original “What The” colorway after a twisted take earlier this year. The Nike GT Future “Varsity Red” drapes a fiery overhaul on the Swoosh’s next-gen hoops shoe, while the Sydney McLaughlin New Balance unites several of NB’s new silos under the gold-winner’s design touch.
September 9th sees the US Open hype hit the Jumpman, as the Air Jordan 7 “Tennis Day” suits up in Agassi-like style. A true grail goes public when the Terror Squad Air Force 1 carries Fat Joe’s banner into battle. The Sabrina 4 “Superstition” ends the day with a look inspired by Ionescu’s pre-game rituals.
September 10th pushes two distinct Vans eras together as the Vans Old Skool Pearlized Yacht Club combines a multicolor 2019 look with a modern charmed series. From there, the Yu-Gi-Oh Crocs capsule goes wide after a Japanese first look, the Simone Rocha adidas brings feminine aesthetics to two models, and the Stan Birch Saucony Progrid Guide 7 sees a bespoke customizer go mainstream with his first collab. From there, it’s a sprint through Beaverton; the Nike Air Zoom Huarache 2k4 “Knicks” and Chevy Nike Book 2 handle hoops for the day before a chrome-coated cadre releases: the Nike Air Max Dolce “Metallic Silver,” the Air Rift 2 “Metallic Silver,” and the Jordan 3 “Metallic Silver” Cleats.
September 11th only has the Nike Vomero Premium “Oreo” to offer.
September 12th begins in Ray Allen’s closet as a tinkered version of his Air Jordan 12 “Bucks” goes public. Three Swoosh collabs follow: the Victor Victor Air Force 1 in red, the Wagyu Air Max 90 with its wearaway uppers and paired Tech Fleece fit, and the Yuto Horigome SB Air Force 1, the first collab on the skate-ready silhouette. It’s more link-ups to follow, between the Larry June adidas adistar Control 5, the Blue Burnham New Balance 991v1, the Street Fighter PUMA Suede, or the Cecilie Bahnsen ASICS GEL-Kinetic FR. We shockingly finish with the Jumpman, as the Air Jordan 4 “London” sees a UK-exclusive drop.
