JJJJound and New Balance are returning to the Made in USA silhouette that started it all for Fall/Winter 2026, revisiting the 990v3 in a tan suede build that stands out as a damn near perfect autumn option.
The 990v3 was the canvas for the pair’s first collaboration in 2018 and has since returned to their collaborative portfolio on three occasions, namely with Olive, Brown, and a Montreal-exclusive brown colorway, all in 2022. Four years removed, the model, some might say one of the best Made in USA silhouettes of all time, is back in focus.
While most JJJJound sneakers do little to modify a model’s standard material composition, this one takes a different route with some key fall-friendly tweaks. The base is cut from tan suede rather than mesh, followed by suede overlays and JJJJound’s signature blacked-out “N” logo on the quarter. The tongue is also different, dropping the usual silver finish for tan suede with stitched brown New Balance branding. The colorway stays well within the JJJJound wheelhouse, giving off a clear fall impression almost akin to coffee with a healthy splash of milk.
The JJJJound x New Balance 990v3 “Tan Suede” doesn’t have a hard release date yet, but JJJJound does note Fall/Winter 2026 in its Instagram teaser. The sneaker could drop via preorder with shipping at a later date.
