Saucony’s release schedule just keeps piling up the hits. This week, skater Jimmy Gorecki and Lapstone & Hammer announced a new project, featuring pairs of the ProGrid Omni 9 for the “Water Ice” pack.

The Summer sneaker season is officially underway, with brands and collaborators giving us plenty of options for colorful, breathable shoe to rock over the next few months. This week, skater Jimmy Gorecki has partnered with Philadelphia retailer Lapstone & Hammer and Saucony, delivering a refreshing, cool take on the ProGrid Omni 9 in two colors. Dubbed the “Water Ice” pack, non-Philly natives might be more familiar with the icy dessert by another name, Italian ice. Made by slowly churning crushed ice and flavor syrup, the result is a smooth and creamy dessert similar to a sorbet. Gorecki’s version in sneaker form is inspired by the ice shop he would frequent growing up in Philly, Via Veneto Pizza. The shoes come in two flavors for this release, the bright red watermelon blue razz or the bold green mint tangerine, both featuring plenty of colorful accents, breathable mesh, and classic Saucony style.

The new Summer-ready pack of Saucony’s Omni 9 runner from Jimmy Gorecki is ready to release this week, on July 3rd, 2026. Dressed in two colorways inspired by flavors from Gorecki’s favorite Italian ice shop, pairs will be available exclusively through Philadelphia retailer Lapstone & Hammer, who also made hand-dyed New Era caps for this release. Prices are set at $165.
