Asics is on a heater with their three-way collaborations this month. Following up on Albino & Preto x atmos last week, INVINCIBLE and Madness’ “Vanilla’ GEL-Kayano 12.1 releases globally this weekend.

Collaborations are plentiful in sneakers right now, with dozens of special projects releasing every month. The limited-edition drops from Asics always manage to catch my eye, thanks to their ability to pinpoint the most exciting partnerships, and give them a huge range of tools to adapt sneakers to their liking. This week, Taiwanese boutique INVINCIBLE and Hong Kong’s Madness are teaming up for a three-way release with the Japanese running brand this month, which already debuted overseas through limited releases at both partners. Now, their “Vanilla” pair of the GEL-Kayano 12.1 lands globally this weekend. The model comes dressed entirely in shades of white and cream, using an array of materials to make the runner special. Woven mesh makes up the underlay for the midfoot, while the toe boxes feature a semi-translucent clear materaisl. Leather and suede overlays add some body to the silhouette while details like zig-zag stitching add an element of craftsmanship.

The upcoming three-way collaboration from INVINCIBLE, Madness, and Asics has been scheduled for its global release this week, on August 29th, 2026. The project features the GEL-Kayano 12.1 as the sneaker of choice, cast in a palette of white and cream hues across many materials used in its construction. Pairs will be available through select Asics retailers, with a price tag of $170.
