Since signing onto a new 20-year mega deal in 2022, Howard University has been on the receiving end of some of the dopest Air Jordan PEs we’ve seen, and that’s not even counting the school’s budding Jordan 1 Low series set to resume later this year. While locker rooms sit quiet for the summer, Jordan Brand has shipped something special ahead of the football team’s return to action this fall.
Here we have not one but two Air Jordan 11 TD “Howard Bisons” cleats, one Mid and one Low. Both feature slick blue patent leather uppers, the color and material pairing giving off a compelling, almost oily impression. The Mid sports red metal Jumpman logos, while the school’s bison head logo lands at the center of the tongue ribbon. All-patent 11s might not be the most practical choice for Washington DC summers, but as a pure collector’s piece, these are something to behold.
Jordan Brand often delivers PEs in bundles for its various sponsored programs, though as mentioned, Howard is no stranger to the occasional one-off. To state the obvious: these will never see a public release. Enjoy detailed images below and hit our Jordan releases page to browse pairs you can actually get your hands on.
Speaking of which, the “True Blue” 3s return July 18th.
