Honor The Gift Fall 2023: Tones Of The Inner City

The fashion label Honor The Gift was first introduced in 2017 by its founder and NBA All-Star Player Russell Westbrook. Westbrook, who now acts as the Creative Director brand, founded Honor The Gift on the self-belief and dedication to never stop working towards your greatness, no matter the hardship. To represent a commitment to each individual’s gift, Honor The Gift’s aesthetics represent core quality, purpose, and storytelling concepts. Inspired by Russell Westbrook’s upbringing in California, the NBA basketball star’s keen and bold fashion sense is present within each apparel offering. Embodying meaningful and straightforward detailing, Honor The Gift is well-versed in crafting a selection of apparel and headwear placed within the worlds of streetwear and high fashion. Each collection typically includes vintage aesthetics with spiritually-inspired graphics, bold fabrics, and minimalist detailing. The brand aims to properly represent the inner city communities by giving back and making them heard and proud.   With that, Honor The Gift presents its full Fall 2023 collections titled 'Tones Of The Inner City.' The brand explains that the inner city has always been forgotten about as a melting pot of culture. It is a land that has been upheld amongst a range of people of color and voices that deserve to be heard. 'Tones Of The Inner City' is defined by a two-part drop in men’s, women’s and kids apparel, and a variety of monochromatic looks is showcased. The collection references the color palettes and moods found within a concrete jungle.       Within the latest 'Tones Of The Inner City' collection, a variety of pieces are showcased including tees, jackets, pants, and more. Pictured above is the Mystery of Pain Tee. This design elevates the classic t-shirt due to its premium construction and distressed detailing throughout the silhouette. A large screen-printed graphic is placed, and features Honor The Gift branding. Cut from 100% cotton jersey fabric, the tee is made to be comfortable and have a worn-in feel.    The collection is also highlighted by a selection of workwear like the Herringbone Pant. Constructed with 100% cotton twill, the design is meant to be durable and comfortable. The pants are highlighted by the simplistic tonal embroidered branding at the thigh, giving a subtle yet elevated touch. The workwear within the 'Tones Of The Inner City' is representative of the collection itself, which intends to showcase individuals that live and work in large cities.      The entire 'Tones Of The Inner City' collection from Honor The Gift is available now.
