Nike announced the final release of Ja Morant’s 3rd signature shoe a few months ago, with pairs landing last week. Now, the model has quietly surfaced in a new “White Label” edition, coming soon.

Ja Morant and Nike are preparing to launch the NBA star’s fourth signature model next month, with a striking “Nightmare” colorway kicking off the Ja 4’s reign. The announcement of the new silhouette came on the heels of their ‘final’ Ja 3 release, a collection of simple team colorways for the “Team Bank” pack. The five-shoe pack was widely acknowledged as the last entry in the shoe’s run, though I can’t find the actual source of that information. Now, the silhouette has surfaced in one more color scheme, a special “White Label” edition. Given the shoe is technically subtitled LX, or lux, Nike could’ve been referring to the TB pack as the final standard-issue colors for the model. Regardless, the White Label pair does step up the shoe’s presentation, packaged in a pristine box with silver lettering, and featuring a matching hangtag. As for the shoe itself, the close-up photos reveal this is, in fact, a more premium take on the Ja 3. The upper appears to be made from a single piece of leather, molded and carved to create the signature texture of the 3. Silver chrome branding accents help bring a flashy touch to the new look.

NIKE JA 3 “WHITE LABEL” RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike has yet to announce their new upscale version of the Ja 3, though with official imagery available we can assume this pair is headed to shelves soon, ahead of the Ja 4’s debut in August. The “White Label” edition gives the Ja 3 a pristine white makeover with metallic silver and chrome branding accents, and comes with special packaging and a jewel-encrusted hangtag. Pairs will be available from both Nike and select retailers for $150, a little more than the model’s standard $130.
