We’ll likely have to wait until closer to the WNBA season opener for that opportunity, but even without her own shoe on the shelves, the Caitlin Clark name is still moving units. As the torchbearer of the Kobe line in the WNBA, the Iowa product’s association with an “Indiana Fever” Kobe 5 and a “Light Armory Blue” Kobe 6 has catapulted both into red-hot commodities.

As she’s wont to do, Caitlin Clark is now eyeing a triple, as a Kobe 5 “Rookie Of The Year” colorway finally comes to light after information last year that indicated it was in the works for Spring ’26. Already sported on court by the woman herself, the actual hardware, outfitted in glass and silver, provides the starting point for this shoe, pasting that same shimmering shade as a foundation. The red alternates that Clark wore for her acceptance photoshoot fill out the rest, adding fiery flair to what’s already a can’t-miss arrangement.

The Caitlin Clark x Nike Kobe 5 Protro “Rookie Of The Year” remains on track to release during the Spring 2026 window, sometime between now and the end of March. Expect a $190 retail price upon release.
