For more than a decade, every holiday season has meant a new (or returning) version of the Air Jordan 11, a tradition that warranted wall-to-wall news coverage of rowdy line-ups in the 2010s and recently returned to similar hotly contested status with the “Gamma” in 2025. Yet the first-time retro for the 2013 colorway wasn’t the only thing worth mentioning when it comes to the AJ11 for Q4. No, Jordan Brand has thought bigger when it comes to the beloved silhouette, issuing a global “City Pack” to bolster that end-of-year slate, and as we begin counting down to the Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam,” it’s got some reinforcements as well.

Beyond spotlighting one of the more legendary looks in all of the Jumpman roster, the sleek edition is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the iconic late-’90s film. In line with that, the Jordan 9 “Space Jam,” and now the Jordan 11 “Green Screen,” will keep the celebration going. In-hand photos of the latter have now emerged for the very first time, demonstrating a material shake-up that plants suede across almost the entirety of the profile, perhaps most intriguingly with new textures on the midsole.

That works alongside an all-green colorway, culminating in glow-in-the-dark outsoles and a few patches of orange traction when viewed from below. In the surrounding details around the shoe, the link to the film becomes unmissable. Graphic insoles, showcasing Jordan’s universe-saving dunk, accompany a slew of film-specific touches in the packaging, including character-laden paper, “SJ 30th” clapboards on the box top, and Tune Squad/Monstars branding that spell out a dual-purpose for this colorway.

The Air Jordan 11 “Green Screen” is currently earmarked for a November 16th launch, retailing for $255. Importantly, confirmation of this release came at the expense of the Jordan 11 “Space Jam Galaxy,” which is no longer expected to see a public release.
