First Look At The Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Medium Olive”

The big Swoosh is back, and it’s beautiful. In case you haven’t heard, Jordan Brand is revisiting the fan-favorite big Swoosh version of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG for the first time since the mid-2010s, before the brand shifted to a new version featuring a smaller Swoosh. The Jordan 1 Low OG “Washed Teal” technically kicked off the style’s renewed run earlier this year, but Holiday 2025 is when the real push begins, with the Jumpman bringing back the Jordan 1 Low OG “Chicago” for its first-ever retro release (yes, you read that correctly).

Looking ahead, Spring 2026 will see the arrival of a few fresh, compelling makeups. Here we have the Jordan 1 Low OG “Medium Olive,” complete with a “Summit White” leather base, nubuck overlays, and black leather Swoosh logos for that “Chicago” color blocking. Underfoot, a “Sail” midsole adds a neo-vintage touch. Like other non-collab Jordans such as the Jordan 1 High “Dark Mocha” from 2020, the sneaker features an aesthetic comparable to Travis Scott shoes.

It’s no secret that Nike Inc. has been struggling to match Jordan 1 sales with the model’s production, but the return of the big Swoosh might be exactly what the brand needs to get back on track (along with reducing stock of the modern cut). This style wasn’t especially sought after in its heyday, but the Jordan 1 renaissance of the late 2010s and early 2020s sent resale prices for pairs like the “Chicago” and “Shadow” skyrocketing. Just a few years prior, the model could be found on markdown at outlets. The big Swoosh aligns more closely with the original run of the Air Jordan 1 Low — but heritage aside, most will probably agree the style simply looks better.
