The Nike GT Future, among the most intriguing and mysterious silhouettes to come out of Nike Basketball in some time, is a mystery no more. While its introductory colorways were hot resale commodities, follow-up editions have slowly become more available, allowing the public writ large to get a taste of the Foamposite-like model all the same.

As part of the dependable stream of exclusives handed down to signed Swoosh schools, collegiate athletes are testing out the Future now as well. Following scattered looks at a steely Duke colorway, FAMU is dabbling in the Nike GT Future now, as in-hand shots start trickling out to social media. Given the one-piece construction of the sneaker, the school-first colorway is relatively simple overall; a trademark green shell pairs with black trim to make up most of what’s on offer. However, trust there’s enough team spirit on display, as a vertical Swoosh on the tongue of the right shoe alternates with the Rattlers logo on the left.

As you might assume, the Nike GT Future FAMU PE will not be hitting the public; it is exclusive to athletes at the Northern Florida HBCU. Catch in-hand shots included below.
