We’d like to remind you that Drake, for all his music accolades, is still an immensely gifted actor. You might have already seen his cameo on Canadian comedy The Office Movers making the rounds online, where he tries to explain the difference between a “guy” and a guy.

One of Drake’s real guys is Kevin Durant, a longtime friend of the rapper through the ups and downs, particularly during his well-documented feud with Kendrick Lamar. That loyalty is now getting rewarded, the two having teamed up on a comedic ad series touting the Easy Money Sniper’s latest signature shoe.

KD and Drake’s latest ad centers around the Nike KD 19 “Purple Candies” aka “Purple Stuff.” Ever the showman, Drake shows up to KD’s house inside a giant crate to hand deliver the shoes, even taking a shot at adidas and Anthony Edwards in the process…

The Nike KD 19 “Purple Candies” is the latest in a run of monochrome colorways for the model, landing June 17th via Nike SNKRS and select retailers for $155.
