Dime Previews a Duo of ASICS GT-2160 Collabs

UPDATE: Montreal-based streetwear label Dime made its presence felt during Paris Fashion Week SS24 by unveiling new footwear collaborations with ASICS. And after teasing a cream and gray colorway, it appears that a green and navy blue iteration has also been produced as the label's co-owner Vincent Tsang has teased it. Like its sibling, this variation bears a gradient theme as dusted green toe boxes and overlays transition into a muted blue towards the mid-foot and rear. And why it didn't have any major catwalk moment, Dime has made its presence felt this week by showing off its upcoming Dime x ASICS GT-2160 collaboration.The Montreal-headquartered streetwear label elected to throw a concise set of neutral tones on this lifestyle runner and focus on gradients for the top and lower halves. Starting out with the base layers, the mesh toe boxes, laces and ASICS tiger stripes are both treated with off-white exteriors and transition into muted gray collars, heels and metallic silver overlays. A Dime call-out rests inside the lateral heel windows just below the GT-2160 branding. Underneath all of that, that midsole splits into four, colored sections. The forefoot is treated with a muted gray before it transitions into a rustic gold hue in the center and white and gray paneling in the rear.The kicks will be seeing a launch on June 22 through 3537's FÊTE DE LA MUSIQUE event.
