Christopher RÆBURN Unveils New Timberloop Design in Latest Earthkeepers Collection

Timberland and RÆBURN have connected to present a brand-new "Earthkeepers" collection in celebration of Earth Day, inspiring its wearers to minimize waste while keeping products out of landfill.Since Christopher Raeburn was elected as Timberland’s Global Creative Director, the brand has continued to present sustainably-minded capsules that fit perfectly into each passing season throughout the year. For example, one of the most eco-friendly and forward-thinking releases to date came in the form of Timberland’s 2021-released C61 Hiking Boot, with half of the design being crafted from recycled materials. Now, Raeburn has returned with a brand new line of designs, this time offering a new approach to his overall aesthetic. Using Raeburn's previously-introduced Timberloop Trekker City Hiker as inspiration, Timberland's latest installment introduces a new Timberloop Utility Mid. Made as a progressive style that's designed to support the whole foot on a melange of tricky terrains, the shoe has been designed with an ergonomic wrap-around design and an OrthoLite footbed. Additionally, the boot's fully circular design keeps sustainability at the front of its mind, with a selection of the shoe's fabrics and parts being eligible for a second life when the Timberloop Utility Mid comes to the end of its time. Along with the new boot, the collection also welcomes a selection of apparel pieces: a new Engineered Knit Hoodie and a DWR Jacket. Both designs also utilize circular design principles to help minimize waste at the end of life. The former is designed with a slew of paneled detailing, while its cozy interior is complemented by leather zippers and knitted tailoring on the sleeves and waist. In contrast, the DWR Jacket comes as a layering piece, while its outer is designed as an overall windbreaker with further internal room for extra layering. You can check out Raeburn's new collection for Timberland above, available to shop via the official Timberland website from April 22 and in other fashion news, take a look at the new UNDERCOVER x Disney collaboration.
