The “it shoe” of New York Fashion Week belongs to Reebok and Celine, the two brands releasing an eight-shoe collection of deconstructed Reebok Freestyle Lo colorways following the project’s runway debut back in June. Pairs are available now via the Celine website for $750, though sizes are already starting to sell out.
The project revisits the Freestyle Lo, an ’80s fitness sneaker aesthetically on par with the ever-popular Club C, giving it a looser, deconstructed upper that speaks to where high fashion is at right now. The paneling stays simple, with Celine doing away with the model’s usual Reebok side motifs and adding its own branding to the tongue tag and backtab. Celine marked the rollout with a New York Fashion Week event in the city earlier this week, showcasing six of the available colorways.
The Celine x Reebok Freestyle Lo collection is available now via Celine.com for $750 in women’s sizes. Eight colorways are on offer: Optic White, Beige, Peanut, Butter, Dark Brown, Fluo Red, Oxblood, and Black. Tap HERE to shop.
