Cecilie Bahnsen’s Waterproof ASICS To Come in 2025
Right off the heels of the Cecilie Bahnsen x ASICS GEL-TERRAIN launch in early September, the Danish designer has previewed new waterproof models set for release in 2025. In Cecilie Bahnsen’s SS25 Paris runway presentation, models wore two different ASICS pairs that bring a performance design functionality to Bahnsen’s delicate style.The first of the two styles is pictured in a silver colorway with Bahnsen’s modern flower print both quilted and appliquéd onto the uppers. Bungee laces make for easy use and add a tactical touch to the slim shape. The next pair appears with a special raincoat-like outer layer secured by a zipper over the tongue. Silver overlays are visible through the translucent upper, which is is printed all-over with glossy navy blue flowers. A sock collar adds an extra level of protection from the elements in both of the models. The designer has hinted in a recent interview with Hypebeast that the brand's next ASICS project would be waterproof and everything about these sneakers say so too.On the runway, Bahnsen previewed the new pairs along with her SS25 collaboration with The North Face. The collaborative line included mostly monochromatic shell outerwear with lustrous floral prints and scalloped hems.
