New Balance seems to be betting big on their new hybrid silhouette this year; the 1890A. Landing somewhere between a moccasin and a tech runner, the model has several collaborations lined up, now including a project from CdG Homme for FW26.

New Balance is preparing to debut a weird new lifestyle shoe this season, the 1890A. The model was first seen last Summer during Paris Fashion Week, worn by their senior marketing manager, Lee Stuart, during a showroom presentation. News regarding the funky new design remained quiet for months, until they popped up again last week, once more during Paris Fashion Week. This time, however, the shoe was formally unveiled as a new release for this year, showcased in a set of three simple color scheme that borrowed styling from both classic NB colors and moccasin designs. Now, the CdG Homme has unveiled their take on the moccasin/tech runner hybrid, coming this Fall. Featuring two colorways, CdG has stepped away from their usual tonal white & black styles for this release. While there is one pair in black, it uses different shades across the mixed material layers to achieve a more complex look. The second pair is a wilder swing for CdG, opting for a tan suede build for the upper, white midsoles, olive green cushioning, and a bright orange accent for the outsoles.

CDG HOMME X NEW BALANCE 1890A RELEASE INFORMATION

New Balance has not yet announced any releases for their new 1890A silhouette, and the CdG Homme pairs are not expected to release until Fall/Winter 2026. The Parisian fashion label will deliver two colorways of the new hybrid sneaker, one in shades of the black and the other in tan, olive, and orange. Pairs will likely be available almost exclusively through DSM channels. No pricing is available for this project yet.
