While Nike is hard at work cooking up Caitlin Clark’s first signature shoe, the Indiana Fever is continuing to drop some excellent Kobe PEs. This week, the Kobe 5 Protro has surfaced in a “Coconut Milk” & “Bright Spruce” combination, coming soon.

Caitlin Clark has been in the Nike family since her time at Iowa, signing an NIL contract with the Swoosh in 2022. After her historic performance during March Madness in 2024 and being drafted first overall in the WNBA draft, she signed a formal athlete deal with Nike cementing their partnership for another eight years. Nike is currently quietly working on the rising star’s first signature shoe, and in the meantime, Clark has become one of the new poster-children of the Kobe sneaker line. CC’s PE releases are some of the best we’ve seen in the last few years; her “Cookie Monster” and “Armory Blue” pairs are some of our favorites. This week, another PE style for Clark has surfaced, joining the ranks of pairs that will release to the public. The new look casts the bulk of the Kobe 5 in a warm Coconut Milk white hue, adding a Bright Spruce accent to the forefoot and Swooshes. The inner lining is added in a darker midnight blue shade, while a pop of University Red on the tongue completes the look.

The next Caitlin Clark style of Nike’s Kobe 5 Protro to release has not been announced yet, but is currently slated for a release during Summer 2026. Clark has yet to wear this striking Coconut Milk & Bright Spruce combo on court yet, but we’ll be glad to see this available to the public regardless. Pairs will likely be available from Nike and select retailers for $190.
