Luckily, Benito’s adidas BadBo 1.0 has been flying off the shelves the same way his most coveted previous collaborations have, redoubling the Puerto Rican superstar as a North Star for the German giant. As we were shown in a no-holds-barred activation on the island in 2025, he’s been hard at work in forging ahead in his catalog, with arguably the breakout story from that showcase being the adidas x Bad Bunny Stone Slide.

A molded, one-piece innovation with drop-in soles bearing his serrated Three Stripes signature, the silhouette made good on its title with rocky exterior textures, meant to again pay homage to PR by mimicking the surfaces of its extensive cave networks. Though adidas reported to Sneaker News at the time that those colorways shown were just sample editions, that was a reversal of course from original info, which indicated that the Stone Slide would indeed see a release.

As we continue to sort through those mixed signals, the plot now thickens as an all-black edition comes to light. Notably missing those geological patterns on the outside, it’s likely that this is an alpha-stage wear-test pair, a phase in which typically these blacked-out looks are the standard.
