James Whitner’s retail empire is taking over the next year. Whether by the Whitaker Group Jordan 4 or a series on the Air Jordan 11 Low where the individual stores will take on the summery low-cut, expect the brands associated with the brick-and-mortar mogul to be in the consciousness a ton over the next several months.
To that end, the All Points Bulletin (APB) x Air Jordan 11 Low is a herald of what’s to come. Originally announced as part of a sprawling Nike, Inc. capsule that included the ReactX Rejuven8 and the Dunk, closer looks at the patent leather sneaker are here. Overall, a deep blue body is the central cue, though the storefront’s designers iterate on traditional blocking with contrast coral piping, aligned with the same tonality on the collar.
In these new in-hand shots, the finer details come into view, like alternating graphic insoles replete with heavy branding, embroidered heels with APB badges, and colorful outsoles where throwback branding cuts through icy traction.
