One Rookie of the Year award, one NCAA championship, and one Olympic gold medal later, Allisha Gray is finally getting her first-ever sneaker release. The assist goes to her South Carolina teammate and close friend A’ja Wilson, whom Gray has shown love and support by rocking nothing but A’ja Wilson shoes since her friend’s signature line kicked off. That love is a two-way street, as Gray will drop her own Nike A’Two PE on August 15th.

Detailed images shared by Nike Basketball show a purple, potentially reflective colorway featuring a number of four-pronged star graphics around the back half of the upper, a potential allusion to Gray’s four WNBA All-Star selections. The PE arrives at a joyous time for the Atlanta Dream and their fans, the team currently riding a five-game win streak and holding the league’s #4 seed. This marks Gray’s second Nike A’Two PE and her first to see an actual public release, her first being a red and gold colorway inspired by Iron Man.
