Air Jordan 2 ‘Wings’ Pays Tribute to Howard ‘H’ White

The Air Jordan 2 ‘Wings’ is part of the Jordan Wings Program for the Class of 2023. This release will pay tribute to Howard ‘H’ White, who is the Vice President of Jordan Brand, and founder of ‘Believe to Achieve,’ a national Nike youth movement. He was also featured in the film, ‘Air,’ who was played by Chris Tucker and had a viable role in signing Michael Jordan to Jordan Brand. Howard White’s favorite model is the Air Jordan 2, which is the reason Jordan Brand will release this pair. As for the release, the shoes will debut during June 2023.

The Wings program is inspired by Michael Jordan’s legacy of greatness and commitment to education. Wings is committed to ensuring that these students have access to quality education without regard to financial need.

This Air Jordan 2 comes dressed in a White, Malachite, and Black color combination. Utilizing White leather on the upper, while the side panels are covered in feathers to resemble wings. Next, we have Green on the Wings logo and around the heel, with Black on the laces, eyelets, liner, and midsole. The lower part of the heel is translucent with ‘H’ bleeding through and also lands on the insoles that represent Howard ‘H’ White. Other details include White, Black, and Green on the rubber outsole, and comes with an extra set of laces with ‘Power’ and ‘Belief’ on the lace tips.

Air Jordan 2 Wings Release Details
