adidas continues to aggressively reshape its position within the performance running space, officially announcing a new multi-season partnership with Paris-based technical running label SATISFY. The collaboration signals another major step forward for adidas Running, a division that has steadily gained momentum over the last several years through both elite marathon performance and growing cultural relevance within contemporary running communities.
While adidas has already established itself as a dominant force on the competitive side of the sport, most notably through athletes breaking the elusive sub-two-hour marathon barrier, the SATISFY partnership represents something broader than pure race-day performance. Together, the two brands are attempting to push running culture into a more expressive, fashion-conscious, and community-driven direction.
The partnership officially launches with the debut of the ADIZERO ADIOS PRO 4 SATISFY, a reworked version of one of adidas’ most successful marathon silhouettes. The shoe blends adidas’ proven race-day technology with SATISFY’s unconventional visual language, incorporating asymmetrical color fading inspired by mismatched skate shoes and DIY spray-paint aesthetics. Additional details include matte silver Energy Rods inspired by off-road desert buggies, while the shoe retains the franchise’s core performance innovations including full-length Lightstrike Pro cushioning, LIGHTTRAXION traction, and carbon-infused Energy Rods 2.0.
Rather than unveiling the collaboration through a traditional campaign rollout, adidas and SATISFY introduced the partnership via “The Circle Pit,” an immersive running event held in Arizona’s Sonoran Desert that merged endurance, sound, movement, and community into a non-traditional race experience.
The collaboration is set to hit retail on May 22nd on satisfyrunning.com followed by a May 25th launch on adidas via the Confirmed App, adidas.com, and its flagship app.
