adidas Originals introduced the Response CL in 2020, paying tribute to their 2000s running technologies. These included the Response Cushion from 2003 and the Response Control 7 from 2007. Since 2022, the Response CL has been associated with Puerto Rican sensation Bad Bunny through various collaborations. Now, the silhouette is set to receive a fresh update with the upcoming “Night Indigo” version, part of adidas’ regular releases.
Featuring a Night Indigo, Cloud White, and Tech Indigo color palette, this adidas Response CL showcases a mesh upper with leather and suede overlays. Taking inspiration from trail runners, the shoe boasts a lightweight, comfortable midsole designed for outdoor strolls and jogs. With TPU Three Stripes on the sides, Trefoil branding on the tongues, heels, and insoles, and a Sail EVA midsole complemented by a Black rubber outsole, the overall design is complete.
