UPDATE 11/6: A Ma Maniére has officially revealed its forthcoming collaboration with Air Jordan 5. This collaboration features two distinct colorways, with the initial release being the “Dawn” edition in Photon Dust/Black-Diffused Blue-Pale Ivory, available exclusively in women’s sizing for $225, as well as pre-school and toddler sizes for $100 and $85, respectively. The launch is scheduled for November 17th at 11 AM ET on a-ma-maniere.com, and raffles will also be conducted at The Whitaker Group stores starting today. A broader release is anticipated on November 22nd through SNKRS.

In a press release, James Whitner, the founder and owner of The Whitaker Group, emphasized the diversity of the Black identity and the non-uniform nature of the Black experience. He stated, “All our previous stories have led to this moment, marking the end of the first chapter and opening our arms to the world for a celebration of unity, culture, and the shared experience of being appreciated for one’s culture, despite not always being recognized as belonging, yet still showing up to contribute from dusk ’til dawn.”
