NBA fever is beginning to truly take hold as we sift through the typical preseason regalia, be it international exhibition games or all-hands-on-deck media scrums. Though Vegas’ expectations for the New Orleans Pelicans are low, there’s plenty of hope to go around in NOLA as fresh faces like Derik Queen and Jeremiah Fears aim to usher in a new era around Zion Williamson.
At least on the footwear front, Zion Williamson is digging into what he’s already accomplished. After his initial Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Voodoo” became a surprise standout in 2022, news broke that he and the Jumpman would revisit the stitched and spooky layout some three years later. The shoe bears a darker, more nocturnal arrangement with an alternating colorway from left to right, comprised of blue suede quarter panels, purple canvas, and upside-down tongue tags. Official images help clarify that similarly inverted Wings logos on the heel are, in fact, removable, showing off bone-script “Voodoo/Zion” text underneath.
As mentioned above, the Zion Williamson x Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Voodoo Alternate” is coming earlier than expected. This shoe releases on October 29th, arriving in adult and GS sizing ($165 / $120, respectively). Watch our Jordan Release Dates page for “Where To Buy” store lists as we approach that date.
