Vans is bringing back its Pearlized treatment for another Old Skool 36, this time with a much brighter color scheme. The Style 36 originally debuted in 1977 as Vans’ second skate shoe and became the first model to feature the now-famous Sidestripe. It was later renamed the Old Skool in the early 1990s.
Red canvas covers most of the upper on this Vans Old Skool, while darker red suede appears around the toe, eyestays, and heel. White stitching breaks up the tonal design, with cream-colored laces adding to the worn-in appearance. The unique detail comes from the pearl and crystal embellishments.
