The Souvenir edition Old Skool from Vans is taking over their Summer lineup this year, after the initial release’s immense popularity last year. The latest colorway to join the upcoming release schedule is a simple black look, coming soon.
Vans’ special projects team has been on a championship-level run this year, having struck gold with their Souvenir Old Skool last Summer. The special colorway’s design was inspired by a Chanel messenger bag from 2015, and quickly caught the attention of the sneaker community thanks to its unique, pre-distressed look and vintage styling. They followed up with more special releases themed after high-fashion bags, before diving in to the Pearlized series that has been going strong since November. Now the Souvenir style is heating up a new round of releases for Summer. Three new colorways have leaked in the last two weeks alone, a pack of red & blue colors as well as a clean white “Oatmeal” look. Today a fourth look has joined the impending releases in jet black, presumably a counterpart to the white pair we first saw earlier this month.
VANS OLD SKOOL 36 SOUVENIR “BLACK” RELEASE INFORMATION
The next installment in Vans’ Souvenir series for the Old Skool 36 has not been officially announced yet, and is not expected to hit shelves until sometime in July 2026. This release colors the pre-distressed style almost entirely in black, applying hot pink to the colorful knit accents. Pairs will be available from Vans and select retailers for $125.
