Does Reebok have a bonafide hit on their hands? Truthfully, there are several sectors of the Boston brand’s library picking up steam as of late; retro propositions like the renewed Board Flip, signature hoops with the Angel Reese 1, and “pinnacle” executions seen in the Reebok LTD series. The Reebok DMX 3000 doesn’t fit in any of those buckets, but two “debut” collaborations have helped imbue the silhouette with a real sense of immediacy, as Packer Shoes and then Brain Child have taken their talents to the chunky cross trainer.
Taking cues from the sectioned, maximalist design of the Reebok Miramar, this modern invention rounds out many of the lines, yet ensures a similar hyper-cushioned platform beneath, fitted with the moving air seen directly underfoot. This particular colorway looks to the chilly side of the color wheel, utilizing light blue anchoring and lavender mesh, both appearing on a double dose of gradients in the midsole.
The Reebok DMX 3000 “Ice Blue” is available now in women’s sizing, retailing for $130 a piece. Hit the “Where To Buy” links below to check for yours.
