The Off-White Air Force 1 Mid ‘Varsity Maize’ Releases Holiday 2023

Off-White’s unusual take on the Nike Air Force 1 Mid has more colorways rumored to release this year. This week, a new ‘Varsity Maize’ version has surfaced, and is expected to arrive during the Holiday 2023 season.

Nike’s releases of Off-White collaborations have continued slowly, after the tragic passing of the brand’s founder Virgil Abloh in 2021. While lots of projects were probably shelved or put on an indefinite hold, the Air Force 1 Mid has continued to arrive in new styles throughout the last two years. Recent additions include the all-black patent leather ‘Sheed‘ style, though we are still awaiting an official release of that pair. This week, a bright new color scheme of the mid-cut model has emerged, and is expected to release sometime during the Holiday season. The new look features a white leather underlay for the midfoot and toes, with bright yellow pieces making up the rest of the upper. Swooshes, laces, and midsoles come in white, along with an embroidered grim reaper on the heels. Finally, a yellow ziptie completes the look.

The next release of Off-White’s take on the Nike Air Force 1 Mid has not been officially announced for release, though they are expected to arrive sometime during the Holiday 2023 season. Dressed in a ‘Varsity Maize’ yellow colorway, pairs will likely be available from both Nike and select retailers for $205.
