With the peak of winter now behind us, the Nike Air Max Plus has surfaced in a new style we can’t help but liken to one of the world’s natural wonders: the aurora borealis, more commonly known as the Northern Lights.
Abstract gradient looks are nothing new for the TN icon, having laid the blueprint for many of its original colorways as well as several standout styles over the years. This Spring 2026 release heads north with shades of Purple Dynasty, Desert Berry, and Platinum Violet, a palette that aligns almost too perfectly with the Northern Lights phenomenon. The rest of the build appears in black, save for contrasting white Swooshes on both sides.
The Nike Air Max Plus “Northern Lights” releases in women’s sizing during the Spring 2026 shopping window, meaning sometime between now and the end of March. Retail is set at $185 USD. See official images below if you’re moved to cop.
