Is Nike trying to find its next Killshot 2? The Swoosh could certainly use a breakout lifestyle model right about now, and it may have one in mind by bringing the Tennis Classic back to the forefront for 2026. Following the recent Tennis Classic “Watch Band” pack comes a new duo featuring patterned terrycloth material, available now via Nike’s website.
The Tennis Classic, originally dubbed the Nike Wimbledon, rose to prominence in the ‘80s thanks in no small part to the exploits of Nike athlete John McEnroe, who famously wore the model before the Mac Attack debuted in 1984. Its last major run came in the mid-2010s, highlighted by Flyknit versions and a healthy run of Fragment Design collabs. Now the silhouette looks poised for another comeback, with Nike once again tapping into the stripped-down court aesthetic that fueled some of its biggest lifestyle hits.
This “Terrycloth” pack isn’t pulling any punches, led by a striking “Fir/White/Sail/Fir” colorway featuring oversized Nike Tennis branding. The other pair is far more understated, opting instead for a white leather upper with a terrycloth Swoosh and backtab.
The Nike Tennis Classic “Terrycloth” pack is available now via Nike’s website, priced at $125 per. See official images below alongside purchase links for each style.
