It’s a term more frequently applied to tech, but Nike, Inc. does the price ladder as well as the next brand, something visible when it comes to femininity-forward propositions. If you’re willing to shell out for the Retros, the Air Jordan 4 “Forget Me Not” or Air Jordan 3 “Spring Flowers” has put the brand’s penchant for florals on front street, albeit with a bit of a heightened MSRP to go with.
Yet you don’t need to reach to the top rack to bring the Swoosh’s delicate aesthetic into your wardrobe. The Nike Dunk Low, a tangible manifestation of the term “accessible” in the past several years, now adds riveted buds to this “Pink Rise” colorway. As if to let those attachments speak for themselves, a soft suede body turns down the contrast a bit, at least relative to pure white midsoles and baby pink outsoles. All that combines for a pair that overall isn’t doing too much, but still stands out from the pack with its customized flourishes at the heel.
The Nike Dunk Low “Pink Flowers” should be hitting Nike.com and partnering retailers in the coming weeks. Women’s sizing and a $130 sticker price are confirmed.
