The Nike Clogposite Return in Summer 2024

In the early-2000s, Nike released the Clogposite, an altered version of the iconic Foamposite that removed most of the shoe’s upper as well as the lacing system, leaving behind a molded plastic slip-on. Now, the model is returning in Summer 2024.

Nike’s SNKRS Showcase livestream last week has given us plenty to look forward to in 2024, from retro Dunks to the return of the Air Max Sunder. The event covered sneakers from all seasons of next year, but one that piqued our interest was the return of the Clogposite, coming sometime in the Summer. Originally released in the early aughts, the silhouette is a modified version of the legendary Foamposite basketball shoe, reengineered as a causal slip-on sneaker. The model saw a brief run of retros in 2014, but now that slipper and sneaker hybrids have taken over the industry, Nike is bringing it back again. Three colorways were shown during the event, with the ‘Chrome’ and black pair leading the way. Tonal color schemes will also drop throughout the year, with Volt and Cream white as two of the options shown. Unmentioned in this showcase was the potential Supreme collaboration, which is expected to kick off the release sometime in SS24.

Nike’s retro release of the early ’00s Clogposite has not been given an official release date yet, though they stated pairs will begin to rollout sometime in Summer 2024. Featuring three colorways for its initial drop; Chrome, Volt, and Cream, pairs will likely be available from the SNKRS app and select retailers for $140.
