So much attention is paid to those who are “next up.” In intersection between the W and our forte in footwear, that’s been speculation on the eventual Nike Caitlin 1 and potential of a Paige 1 behind it. However, the A’One is currently marching on in its defining run, making good on the “of course I have a shoe” marketing with a well-recieved inaugural year on the shelves.

Given Wilson’s penchant for pink, it’s no shock that we’ve seen her debut silhouette take on rosy tones so frequently, again the case as a “Hyper Pink” edition comes to light. Where this one sets itself apart from the pack is in glittery finishes and glossy materiality, the former most effective running underneath the Swoosh and the later most visible down the laces and on the heel. Utilizing staid black on the Swoosh and heel Aja branding keeps things in grounded territory, but we won’t kid ourselves; this are made for making a statement all the same.
