On top of making a comeback in its own right, the Nike Air Max Sunder has had a surprising influence on Nike’s newest silhouettes, lending its sole to the Air Max Phenomena loafer and its upper to the Air Max RK61. We’ve also seen the model expand with fresh materials like denim and leather, plus bold patterns like an upcoming “Realtree Camo” edition. For its latest outing, however, the silhouette reins things in with a “Cave Stone” look that syncs effortlessly with autumn fashion.
Sharing its name with a recent Jordan 4, the futuristic cross-trainer born from the Nike Alpha Project here features a gradient nylon upper that fades from white at the toe to “Velvet Brown/Cave Stone” around the heel. The Sunder sports a zippered shroud over a sock-like interior layer, with brown accents covering the zipper and piping on this latest colorway. Off-white “Sail” hits the midsole, insoles, and inner lining, while “Light Bone” TPR pods punctuate a brown synthetic mudguard. Underfoot, the model’s distinctive outsole blends brown and “Sail” for a balanced finish. With its warm build and earth-toned palette, this edition feels tailor-made for fall rotations.
The Nike Air Max Sunder “Cave Stone” releases Holiday 2025 for $180 in adult sizes. See official images below if you’re planning to cop.
