Air Force 1 releases have seen an uptick in the last year, with Nike returning to the classic silhouette after flooding the market. This week, we have an early look at a new “Safari Swoosh” edition, coming soon.

The Air Force 1 appears to be getting another wave of special releases from Nike this year, after the Dunk Low took the shoe’s spot as their flagship lifestyle shoe in the early 2020s. The AF1 never left the Swoosh’s catalog, but took a backseat to other silhouettes after Nike flooded the market in the 2010s with the iconic 1982 model. We’ve seen an uptick in unique new editions, like Kobe’s Protro pairs, the seasonal floral editions, and of course, the forthcoming return of the 2001 shape. This week, we have an early look at a new mildly animalistic take on the model, complete with Safari print accents. The look comes in a triple white base, adding the signature pattern to the shoe’s Swooshes and heel tabs. The heels remove the usual Nike Air branding in favor of a gem-like insert featuring the iris of an animal’s eye inside, with a black Swoosh replacing the pupil. Finally, kumquat orange mini Swooshes are embroidered on the outer toes.

Nike’s latest pair of their Air Force 1 featuring the iconic Safari pattern has not been announced officially yet, but is expected late in Summer or during Fall 2026. The look features a classic white build for the AF1, adding the Safari print to the Swooshes, heel tabs, and even an extra set of laces. Pairs will be available from both Nike and select retailers,
