Nike is revisiting its most iconic Air Max 90 look with a darker, edgier twist. The original “Infrared” immediately comes to mind, though this “Tough Red” edition for Fall 2026 swaps the brightness for dimmer grey tones and one notable color blocking change.

The bulk of the sneaker stays true to OG color blocking, just moodier. Grey Fog covers the mesh base, Smoke Grey suede takes the quarter, and black leather handles the mudguard. Tough Red appears on the heel badge, midsole wedge, mudguard window, and beyond, while the Swoosh, typically matching the quarter panel it sits on, also picks up the accent shade for an added dash of intrigue.
