The chunky hybrid has increasingly been ordering off the secret menu, now having served a thinned no-sew version, a futuristic caged edition, and an outdoorsy mule offshoot. Whether the changes on this pair are radical enough to warrant being a sub-model unto itself is unclear, but the Boston brand’s hopes to see the 9060 further build out its cookbook continue here all the same.

While suede and mesh is a combination mainline pairs always wear, breathability is particularly in focus with this one, as an extra mesh overlay sits between the topmost layer and the branching synthetics. Some inventive color blocking work allows yellow trim to add life to what’s otherwise a standard NB look; white and grey take up most of the real estate on this colorway.
